HEYY GUUUYYZZZE! I lied about uploading old and lame stuff first - the first actual deviation I've got is a new song.

I made it for :icontylerburrito: and it's got the hippin' and the hoppin' and the bippin' and the boppin', but it still manages to know what the jazz is all about. I think that's a pretty damn good balancing act, don't you?

I still plan on uploading some old and bad stuff though, because I know that some of you guys kinda enjoyed it I guess? But I digress. There's also a detailed project bio section right under my deviantID, so go ahead and read that too. You may even learn some things about projects "to come"*

Anyway, who am I? I'm Zachary Hinchliffe, better known as "Hinchy" on these here internets. I'm an aspiring game developer/designer/programmer. That's my real passion. I also do some other things. I've been lazy with them for the past several years due to me thinking "Eh! It's not what I really want to do - so I have an excuse to make shit!" except I've kinda recently realized that I myself was full of shit, so I'm now working on actually doing more than "talking pictures" animation and "NES-sorta-sounding-I-guess" music. (I hope you wish me luck, 'cause I'll need it.)

I'm working on several things at the moment! The first one is called "The Adventures Of!" and it's my baby. The animation used to be total crap but I'm working on a complete stylistic revamp of the series that's coming up in the near future so watch the frick out guys!

I am working with my friend Joe Pierce ( :iconkillerraven: ) on creating a collection/series/whatev of mini-ish-games tentatively titled the "Compass series". Each one of the four games uses a cardinal direction as its namesake and bases the gameplay loosely off that one word and combines it with a platformer archetype and a simultaneously retro and slightly unnerving aesthetic. Only one is done so far. [link]

My sole comic series, one that is currently only in the concept phase, is called "The None". It's about a girl that, one day, stops existing. You'll learn more about this as I actually make it.

I'm also making 0x310CA. Don't know what it is? It's a mystery to everyone. It'll be here soon.

I am the owner and one of the four admins of a website called MindStage Creative Community. Its purpose is similar to DeviantART's but it is executed completely differently (rather than a social network art site, it's a forum community and web hosting service) and with a broader scope (we cover games and music and film).
